In our home each child named their Secret Angel different names, so we had each angel monogrammed!

Your secret angel was sent to be a tangible being that your child can connect with as someone who has that special connection to God. What we can get excited about as parents is that when we tell our children about their angel, we are not telling them a story.  Angels are REAL!  They are sighted many times throughout scripture!

“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”  Psalm 91:11

Your secret angel was sent as a messenger, a friend and someone to watch over your child!  Once your child names her she comes alive in your home!  This means that she flies around to different places around your house.   It is up to you as a parent to get as creative as you like with your angel’s hiding spots and messages that she might bring each day.  We write this blog to help make it easy for you to come up with daily teachable moments to incorporate the REAL meaning of Christmas into your home!

Lizzie found a special spot amongst the carolers this morning!  Bella had so much fun waking up in search of her!

We tell the children that she is not to be touched.  We do this because we want the children to know that she is different… she is special.

What happens in your home if your angel falls from her spot or your child picks her up???  In our home we say a little prayer over the angel that she will not lose her magic, that God will continue to keep her alive as our family’s guardian angel and friend!

The best thing you can do is to read the book every night this month and find special ways to use your angel as a tool to lead your child to know and love the LORD!
